Question 6: What is a domain name and hosting?
A domain name is the 'address' of the website, such as www.yourbusiness.com.au. Website hosting is a space purchased with a host which allows the world to see your website via the internet.
Some clients prefer to organise their own hosting and domain name but it is something that we can set up for you as part of our service. We use and recommend www.1337.as hosting – their hosting solutions can be found here. We are more than happy to advise you of the best package for your site and organise the hosting on your behalf. A .com.au domain name registration costs around $21 for two years.
All hosting and domain name registrations are paid directly to the provider, unless they are part of one of our web design packages.
